Description:
This session will take a deeper dive into estate planning, including addressing the “not-so-obvious” matters that are rarely discussed but which could matter more than you may realize. Among other advanced estate planning topics, we’ll discuss elder care law, including how Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts (MAPTs) can help protect your family’s assets and future. We’ll talk about how to avoid worrying about what would happen to your beloved pets, by discussing pet trusts and how to ensure your furry family members are cared for. For parents of newly independent teens, we’ll address the unique estate planning challenges that come with having a minor who’s just reached the legal age of maturity. We will generally discuss Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. We will also touch on
college application and financing.
